Many extend aid to Covid-hit people

Several organisations and individuals are continuing to provide aid to Covid-19 affected people of the state.
Imphal East District United Clubs' Organisation (IEDUCO) and North Eastern United Clubs' Organisation (NEUCO) distributed Aconite-30, Arsenicum album-30 and AYUSH-64 tablets which were provided by Department of AYUSH to 1500 people in areas under their respective jurisdictions on Friday.
In a release, IEDUCO informed that the AYUSH medicines were distributed at Huidrom village, Nungei Awang Leikai, Mani Yashkul village, Wairi, Kangla Sangomsang, Phaknung, Chingarel, Tejpur, Sawom-bung, Sawombung Thongkhong, Sawombung Kabui village, Kabui Khunjao, Sawombung Kabui Khunou and Biramangol College Sawombung under the aegis of AMUCO and in collaboration with local clubs, ward members, meira paibi activists and ASHA workers.
The programme was attended by AMUCO VP Koijam Helen, IEDUCO president Takhellambam Dijo, vice president Khurailakpam Ulendro Meitei, general secretary Tensubam Kalachan Meitei, publicity secretary Puyam Ingocha Khuman along with Poirei Apunba Leimarol Meirapaibi president Purnimasi and advisor Bimolata Leima.
Former Patsoi MLA Sapam Kunjakeshor {Keba) and KKDC, Khundrakpam also distributed edible items to Covid-19 affected families in Patsoi and Khundrakpam assembly constituencies respectively on Friday.
