Schools set Jul 15 deadline to submit evaluation report

Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) chairman Dr Lamabam Mahendra has informed all higher secondary schools affiliated under the Council to submit evaluation reports of their respective students by July 15.In a video message, Dr Mahendra said that the Council could not conduct higher secondary examination this year due to Covid-19 pandemic and it had informed schools to submit evaluation report of students based on their performances by July 15 after constituting assessment committees.
There are 192 institutions affiliated under the council and only about 60 schools have submitted their reports so far.
Expressing concern over the matter, he appealed to all the schools to submit their reports within the stipulated deadline.
Reports of students, who did not submit filled up form for examination should also be submitted by July 17, he added.
The Council is planning to declare examination results during July 20 to 24, he said and added that early declaration of results would facilitate admission opportunities in different universities as well as opportunity to appear in competitive examinations such as NEET and JEE.
Delaying the declaration of results beyond the proposed timeline will affect the career of the students, he said while urging schools to cooperate.
He also asked school principals and teachers to consult the Council officials if they have any confusion over the evaluation module and mechanism.
