Imphal, May 13 2022: Ex-minister Oinam Lukhoi on Friday inaugurated the office of Govindagram Yaipha Lamjing Women's Welfare Association, Wangoi.

The office was constructed by Lukhoi from own sources.

Speaking at the function, Lukhoi pledged to continue working for the development of the constituency from his own expenses though he is not the MLA anymore.

He also urged the incumbent MLA not politicise distribution of NFSA and PMGKY food grains.

While lauding the present MLA for trying to complete the unfinished projects taken up by him related to education, health and public health engineering departments while he was the representative of the people, Lukhoi expressed hope that his successor will bring more projects for the development of the constituency.

The inaugural function was also attended by Lairenjam Meijrao Gram Panchayat pradhan Tongbram Manglemba, ward number 7 member Tongbram Somorendro, ward number 6 member Pebam Achoubi and other executives of the association.
