Cleanliness activities carried out at RIMS

As part of the nationwide Special Campaign 4.0, aimed at institutionalising Swachhata (cleanliness) and reducing pendency, cleanliness activities and disposal of redundant items were carried out at RIMS College of Nursing, Dental College and Clinical Psychology on Saturday.

Nursing principal professor H Jamuna Devi emphasised the importance of cleanliness for maintaining good health and highlighted that the cleanliness programme aligns with the objectives of Special Campaign 4.0 .
In light of the on-going dengue outbreak, professor H Jamuna stressed the need for keeping the environment clean, noting that a dirty environment can lead to numerous health issues.
She remarked, "Cleanliness is not just a personal responsibility but a collective one, especially as we face the dengue challenge" .
The Special Campaign 4.0 had nodal officer professor Y Govindaraj Singh inspecting the sites.
The programme was actively participated by the staff of the College of Nursing, Dental College and Clinical Psychology, as well as students and staff members from RIMS, Imphal CRED, it added.
