State logs one fresh case

Imphal, June 09 2022: The state on Thursday detected one fresh case of Covid-19, out of 65 samples tested in the last 24 hours while two patients have been discharged from home isolation.

With this, the total number of active cases in the state has dipped to one.

The test positivity rate as on Thursday evening was recorded at 1.5 per cent.

The newly detected Covid case is from Ukhrul district and is under home isolation.

Till date, the pandemic has claimed 2120 lives including seven CAPF personnel and infected 1,37,236 individuals including 5,014 CAPF personnel.

Meanwhile, a total of 2872 vaccine doses were administered on Wednesday which took the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 29,12,438 out of which 15,74,879 have received first dose, 12,38,055 second dose and 99,504 taken precautionary doses.
