Team led by Salam Joy meets NCP leaders

Imphal, December 08 2024:
A Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) team from north-eastern states led by the party's Manipur State Unit president and ex-MLA Salam joy met with national leaders on December 5 and urged for resolving the prevailing violence in Manipur at the earliest.
The team met NCP national president and Maharashtra deputy minister Ajit Pawar, and working president and Rajya Sabha MP Praful Patel in Maharashtra and urged their assistance in resolving the conflict in the state.
Shiv Sena Manipur State Unit president M Tombi also attended the meeting, wherein a memorandum was submitted by MDA to the PM and union home minister through the two leaders.
In response, the two leaders assured to hand over the memorandum and talked with the Prime Minister and home minister regarding the matters.
MP Praful Patel later uploaded a post on social media lauding the north east delegation of NCP for their efforts in strengthening the party's presence in the region.
