Imphal, January 07 2022:
Thangmeiband AC MLA Kh Joykisan lost his mind after failing to join BJP, even to the point of pawning off the North Imphal Sporting Association (NISA) during his time as its president, Thangmeiband AC intending BJP candidate and incumbent NISA president Jyotin Waikhom has claimed.
Speaking to newspersons at his Thangmeiband Lairenjam Leikai residence on Friday, Jyotin recalled that when Joykisan was NISA's president during 2015-17, he (Joykisan) took an amount of Rs 4 lakh and another amount of Rs 5 lakh from the Club, according to the documented resolutions and opted during the MCA and general body meetings.
At that time, Joykisan pawned off the Club, which did not even have a proper office.
"However, I do not know why he (Joykisan) is upset after NISA was developed to its present status in my term as its president.
It is unfortunate for an MLA to make disparaging and false statements during inauguration functions of community halls.
It would be best for the MLA not to drag the Club into politics, considering he (Joykisan) was once its president.
Joykisan should keep aside his narrow-minded thoughts, claiming credits for others' efforts and trying to purchase the votes of the people," he remarked, and hoped that the denizens of Thangmeiband will teach the lying MLA a lesson.
Jyotin then said that Joykisan, probably lost his mind after failing to join BJP and as such, is such making incoherent statements every now and then.
