BMVSS plans fitment camps in CCpur, Kpi

Imphal, September 04 2024: Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), the makers of world-famous Jaipur foot, would conduct fitment camps in Manipur to help people with physical disabilities settling in Churachandpur and Kangpokpi districts.

According to a press release, the htment camp will be held in Churachandpur on September 6 and 7 and in Kangpokpi on September 9 and 10.The release informed that the fitment camp for the state was formally launched at the Manipur State Shumang Leela Council office, Palace Compound by handing over Jaipur foot, artificial hand, hearing aids, tricycles, wheelchairs, callipers and crutches free of cost to those in need.

The launch programme was organised jointly by Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (PoW) and Interfaith Forum and Disabled Development Association of Manipur with active support of Manipur State Shumang Leela Council, JCI Imphal ICONICS, Bramha Sabha, Shree Govinda-jee Temple and Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Cultural Foundation.
