43rd Zonal Science exhibition held

Thoubal, December 27 2024: The 43rd Science Exhibition for School Children 2024-25 was organised jointly by Science Unit of the Directorate of Education (S) and Zonal Education Officer, Zone-Ill Thoubal at the Zone-III conference hall, on Friday.

The district level exhibition for students from class IX to XII was conducted under the topic "Science and Technology for Sustainable Future" .

The function was attended by Zone-Ill ZEO Arambam Anilkumar, MES deputy inspector of school N Rajen and assistant inspector of schools Thoudam Brojen as presidium members.

The "Nga Yai Komphu" model developed by class X student Athokpam Chaoba of LM High School won the 1st Best Exhibit, while the "Waste management" model developed by class IX student Bha-vani Waikhom of Bright Foundation School and the "Rice Waste Stove" model made by class IX student Athokpam Sorojini Devi of LM High School bagged the 2nd and 3rd Best Exhibit respectively.

The winners were presented cash prize and certificate by the presidium members.

The top three models will represent Thoubal district at the State Level Science Exhibition.
