Consumers' Club celebrates foundation day

Imphal, August 26 2021: Consumers' Club Manipur (CCM) celebrated its 30th foundation day in a simple manner at its office with strict adherence to Covid-19 SOPs on Wednesday.

In a release, CCM secretary in-charge S Bikudor informed that the programme was presided over by its president T Phulchand Sharma and attended by founders and other members.

During the programme, the Club president also revealed its planned activities for 2021-22 which include pressing for constitution of price fixation committee under Essential Commodities Act, awareness programmes on Consumer Protection Act 2019 and rules and regulations for shops with shopkeepers, timely distribution of fertiliser, to pressurise district administration to stop political intervention in PDS and fertiliser distribution, etc, it added.
