Nine test positive in Ukhrul, Kamjong

Ukhrul, May 25 2021: Amidst the rising Covid-19 positivity rate in the state, five fresh cases were detected in Ukhrul district and another four in Kamjong district on Tuesday.

With this, the tally of active cases in Ukhrul has reached 113, as three patients were discharged on the same day.

In Kamjong, the total number of active cases now stands at 38, including the fresh four cases detected on Tuesday.

The four new positive cases emerged from among 35 people tested on Rapid Antigen Test (RAT), according to an official source from the Kamjong Covid-19 Testing Centre.

According to the source, the cumulative number of positive cases in the district is 379 out of 7465 tests conducted so far.

Out of 219 people whose SpO2 (Oxygen Saturation Rate) were examined, two of them were found with low SpO2, while 214 had mild symptoms and two others with moderate symptoms, it said.
