Chandel, July 21 2014: The District Level Officers (DLOs) and leaders of various Civil Societies met together in a meeting at DC's Chamber in Chandel today.

Today's DLOs meeting conducted with the Chandel civil bodies led by CNPO was the first of its kind for the FY 2014-15 .

Though details of the meeting chaired by Chandel DC Chittaranjan were not available, information received from a source said that in addition to interactions on various issues related to the district, all round development and better functioning of the district administration were discussed in the meeting.

Some of the HODs/DDOs were also slammed by the civil bodies for their irregularity and inefficiency towards delivering proper services to the public, the sources added.

It may be recalled here that Chandel bodies under the aegis of CNPO had already warned the DLOs in connection with their work ethics after an inspection carried out and found more than 15 offices locked last month.

Meanwhile, a public leader while terming the today's meeting was a success, informed that similar meeting would be held again by inviting Civil bodies from Kuki community as well.
