ZRA-EC cadre hurt in junta bombing, netted in CCpur

Imphal, April 21 2025:
A suspected cadre of ZRA-EC, who suffered injuries during a gun-fight and bombing in Myanmar, has been apprehended by security forces at Behiang in Churachandpur district.
Sources identified the apprehended ZRA-EC cadre as Sianmun of Tuithang (Myanmar), who has been subsequently admitted at the district hospital, Churachandpur for treatment.
According to the sources, heavy firing and bombing occurred between ZRA-EC and CNA on April 20 morning in Myanmar with injuries and possible casualties reported on both the sides.

Of the injured transported to Churachandpur, around 6 pm of April 20, one of the ZRA-EC cadres was brought through a foot track towards Behiang T village, also known as Sialsi village, to evacuate him to Churachandpur district hospital.
Around 7:30 pm, an ambulance was spotted at security check post carrying injured cadre later identified as Sianmun of Tuithang (Myanmar) .
The sources further informed that security forces rounded up other unknown persons along with the injured ZRA-EC cadre at Behiang.
Few days ago Myanmar army dropped bombs over PDF cadres in Myanmar injuring 13 cadres, who were assisted by volunteers of a civil society in crossing over to India and provided care for them, the source informed.
