Bodies fete meritorious students of Kakching, Yairipok

Kakching, July 17 2022: HSLC- 2022 3rd ranker Menaka Huidrom along with students settling in areas under Keirak Gram Panchayat, who passed in division in the HSLC-2022 and Higher Secondary Examination 2022, were felicitated by Keirak United Development Association (KUDA) and presented with cash prizes sponsored by Wabagai MLA Dr Usham Deben and Keirak GP on Sunday.

The function held at Keirak Keithel community hall was attended by Dr U Deben, Keirak Wabagai Zilla Pari shad member Mayengbam Jayanta, Keirak GP pradhan Elangbam (o) Shanti Lei-ma, upa- pradhan Yumnam Ratan, KUDA president L Chandrakumar, Sanatombi High School, Keirak retired headmaster S Irabot and social worker K Ningthemjao as presidium members.

During the programme,HSLC Exam 2022 3rd position holder Menaka Huidrom, daughter of H Shyamo and Jamuna of Keirak Khongnang Leikai was presented with Rs 1 lakh cash prize by Dr Deben along with announcing to provide stipend of Rs 3000 per month till the completion of class XII.

She was given cash prizes by others also.

In all, 65 students who passed in first Division in HSLC Exam 2022 and 18 students in HSE 2022 were also presented cash rewards at the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Deben declared that students from his AC who secure top 25 positipns in class X and XII examinations in coming years will be rewarded.

Meanwhile, Youths and Students' Development Organisation (YSDO) -Kakch-ing High School 1979 Matric Batch on Sunday presented its annual awards to students of Kakching and surrounding areas and Kakching Centre topper of the HSLC Exam 2022 along with top rankers of Kakching Higher Secondary School.

The programme held at the Secondary School was attended by School's principal Naorem Nomita De as chief guest and YSD president Dharmadash; president.

As part of the function cash prizes were distributed to HSLC Exam-20; third position holder Menaka Huidrom, 9th positic holder and Kakching Center topper Mayanglambam Sania and 23rd position hole er Moirangthem Devarai along with top three rankers of the Secondary School namely Yengkhom Narmada, Shougaijam Jenifer an Mayanglambam Binata.

Similarly, Kekru Yairi Club Yairipok felicitated studen of Kekru village who score high marks in HSE and HSL Exams 2022 along with other examinations on Sunday.

Two students who cleare JNV Entrance Examinatio along with 40 students wh passed class X and XII exam ination with excellent score were presented with gifts at the event.
