LPSM conducted 'sit-in-protest'

Imphal, April 16 2015 : League of the Proletarian Students of Manipur (LPSM) conducted 'sit-in-protest' at various places such as Thaoubal, Pangei and Imphal East against the inadequate staff, teachers and facilities in Aided Schools at rural areas.

It could be mentioned LPSM has given a deadline on April 13 to the State authorities to take up necessary action for the non-functional rural schools under the State Government.

A press release issued by LPSM General Secretary, Ishan Chandam, further said that these schools status has not be attended by the authorities till date and the imbalance of teachers and staff remains a major issue of non-functioning of these schools.

LPSM appeals the people to support in their drive to seek timely and adequate action from the authorities.
