Adventure Park inaugurated at Kangpokpi village

The first-ever adventure park in Kangpokpi district, 'Hard Rock Adventure Park' is now finally open for all ages to enjoy a perfect blend of adventure, thrill, fun, entertainment and many more recreational facilities at SP Ngaimun village.
The park was formally inaugurated by local MLA Haokholet Kipgen by unveiling the park's plaque on Sunday.
Nestled in lush greenery on the hillside of Mt Koubru range, the Hard Rock Adventure Park has a long zip line course and many other fun-filled activities to offer.
Visibly delighted MLA Haokholet appreciated the innovative effort of the architect behind one of the finest adventurous parks in the state in Saitu AC that can cater to thrill-seekers of all ages and is a perfect escape for family outings, where everyone can be a kid again.
While stressing the importance of parks, especially, adventure park, the MLA said that parks are a tangible reflection of the quality of life in a community as they provide a sense of public pride and cohesion to every community.
"Improving and promoting places to be physically active can improve individual and community health and well-being", added Haokholet.
He also said that such a park provides a place for children and families to connect with nature and the environment which can transform people's way of thinking or draw the youth towards preserving and protecting the environment.
Less than half-an-hour drive from the district headquarters and a 1-hour drive from the state capital Imphal via Saparmeina, the Hard Rock Adventure Park offers around 450-500 metre long and 45-50 feet high zip line, believed to be the first-ever zip line course of such length and height in the state.
It also offers treetop adventure, rock, climbing, boating, cycling, ATV ride, water zorbing, log cabin, camping site, stone house, kids area, etc.
With an entry fee of Rs 200 per head, visitors who would like to take an extreme adventure facility like zip line and treetop adventure will have to pay another Rs 200, and Rs 2000 for log cabin, Rs 1500 for camping site and Rs 2000 for stone house.
