Saikul CSOs endorse PDCC's stand over shifting of DHC from Sagolmang

Kangpokpi, April 15 2018: Civil society organizations of Saikul AC, under the aegis of Kuki Inpi Saikul Gamkai, today expressed its endorsement of the movement of Peace and Development Coordinating Committee (PDCC) against the shifting of District Hospital from Sagolmang in Khundrakpam AC .

The CSOs Saikul also vehemently condemned the alleged 'unexpected' decision of the State Government in shifting the site for construction of Imphal East District Hospital from its previous location at Sagolmang to Kyamgei Mamang Leikai in Keirao AC .

Seimang Lupho, president, Kuki Inpi Saikul Gamkai said that considering the immense service provided by the Imphal East District Hospital at Sagolmang towards the poor and needy people from Saikul, the people of Saikul Gamkai would support and render full cooperation towards the PDCC in its movement to roll back the decision of the State Government in shifting the hospital from Sagolmang.

The Saikul CSOs urged the State Government to roll back its decision of shifting the District Hospital from its previous location at Sagolmang to Kyamgei Mamang Leikai and continue with the construction work at Sagolmang, considering the sentiments of the people.

It also warned that failing to withdraw the Govt's decision, the CSOs Saikul will render full support and cooperation towards the PDCC and endorse it movement whatsoever to roll back the decision.
