AR units celebrate Har Ghar Tiranga

Imphal, August 14 2022: Somsai Battalion of IGAR (South) conducted flag march with national flag as part of "Har Ghar Tiranga" (HGT) campaign at Awang Kasom and Phaibung villages on Sunday while Shangshak Battalion organised a village security meet at all its COBs and also celebrated Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

Sajik Tampak Battalion also celebrated Pre-Independence Day under Har Ghar Tiranga with students and teachers of St Marr's School, Khullen in Chandel district on Sunday as Mantripukhri Battalion conducted painting competition for families, children of the Battalion and children of boys hostel under the theme "Har Ghar Tiranga" at Mantripukhri on Saturday.

Tengnoupal Battalion also organised an event under the theme of Har Ghar Thanga at Tengnoupal village on Saturday to commemorate 75 years of Independence where the Battalion distributed national flags to the villagers.

Similarly, Noney Battalion of 22 Sector and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised flag hoisting cum motivational talks under 'Har Ghar Tiranga campaign' as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at St John English High School, Nungba; Don Bosco School, Tupul; Savio English High School, Awangkhul and Berean Baptist Academy, Khumji-II on Saturday.

In all the events, the participants were made to understand that bringing the flag home collectively as a nation in the 75th year of Independence is not only an act of personal connection of the Tiranga but also an embodiment of their commitment to nation-building.
