TAL team Delhi-bound to join protest

Thoubal, December 10 2024: A seven-member team of Thoubal Apunba Lup (TAL) on Tuesday left for Delhi to participate in the protest demonstration by Delhi Meitei Coordinating Committee on December 12 at Janta Mantar.

The team was flagged off from Thoubal Achouba Keithel Makha multipurpose community hall by TAL advisor Soubam Biren.

Speaking to reporters, TAL advisor Jotin Waikhom informed that the team would join the protest organised by the Delhi Meitei Coordinating Committee, which will be held under the theme "85 Suba Nupilan Day and the Protest Demonstration against the Abduction, Sexual Assault and Killing Meetei Men, Women and Children by Kuki Militants in Manipur.

He further informed that TAL, along with other organisations in Delhi, will launch additional protests against the atrocities committed by armed Kuki militants against innocent Meeteis, including women and children, since the violence began on May 8, 2023.He said that TAL has been actively working to address the ongoing crisis and will continue its efforts.
