Awangkhul, Haochong BJP workers form poll panels

Noney, September 10 2021: A joint meet of Awangkhul and Haochong ADC segments BJP workers, who are backing BJP ticket aspirant Janghemlung Panmei for the upcoming assembly election from Tamenglong AC, was held Friday at Khumji Part-3, Noney district.

During the meeting chaired by ex-ADC candidate in Haochong segment Forceson Khumba and ex-ADC candidateofAwangkhul segment BT Guijonang as convener and co-convener respectively, those gathered endorsed formation of election steering committee for the two segments and passed many resolutions.

The committee also chalked out strategies for success of BJP candidate in 2022 election particularly in Tamenglong AC.

The 11-member election steering committee is being headed by SK Agong of Khumji Part-3 as the convenor while three co-conveners namely Lumthailung, B Daniel and Ch Dinganlung were also appointed.

Ajine Inkah will be secretary of the committee and Hopeson joint secretary.

The committee also has five members.

Many leaders and workers from 23 villages falling under Awangkhul and Haochong segments attend ed the meet.

Central steering committee convener Poujan Gonmei from Tamenglong headquarters also attended the meeting and urged the grassroots workers to have tolerance and perseverance in all aspects and be ready to work for the cause of the people with sacrificial spirit.

He appealed to the political workers to remain, future prospects.
