Imphal, July 07 2022: Department of Science and Technology conducted a quiz competition for students of class IX-XII on the topic Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for Sustainable Future' at Manipur Science Centre auditorium, Takyelpat on Thursday.

The competition was held in two sessions with Kendriya Vidyalaya, Lamphelpat team comprising Thiyam Chancery alias Ibema and Dipanita Ngathem winning the first position; UNACCO School pair of Lenthoibi Laishram and Henthoibi Haobam getting the second position and Keishamthong High School duo of Thoisana Thokchom and Haorakcham Emona taking the third position.

Teams of Lamlai Higher Secondary School and HM Higher Secondary School were awarded consolation prizes.

The prize and certificate distribution programme was presided over by Science and Technology director Homila Hongrei while Lilong Haoreibi College principal Dr Md Raheijuddin Sheikh and Department of Science and Technology senior scientific officer Moirangthem Roma were the presidium members.
