Governor meets NHIDCL executive director, students

Imphal, January 07 2025: National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) executive director MS Deval called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan on Monday and briefed him on the various national highway projects that are currently under construction in the state.

In a release, Raj Bhavan PRO informed that MS Deval also presented a comprehensive data on the key challenges faced in executing the tasks.

In reply, the Governor asked the director to accelerate the pace of the ongoing projects and to complete within the stipulated time-frame as it will improve the state's connectivity.

Similarly, 14 student leaders selected to participate in the 'Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue', at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on January 11 and 12 called on the Governor on Tuesday.

According to the PRO, the student leaders introduced themselves and briefed the Governor about the topics assigned to them.

A PowerPoint presentation will be delivered by the students in New Delhi.

These student leaders will represent Manipur in the contest during the dialogue.

The Governor encouraged the young leaders for their commitment to nation-building and wished them success in their future endeavours, it said.
