'Super Model' Jairaj Ningombam feted

Imphal, November 06 2024: Nineteen-year-old Ningombam Jairaj, who won the title of "Super Model" at the Mr Cosmopolitan 2024 pageant, recently held in Korat, Thailand, was felicitated during a function organised by Flying Aviation and Hospitality Institute at Ningthemcha Karong, on Wednesday.

Speaking at the event as chief guest, Lamlai MLA Kh Ibomcha termed Ningombam Jairaj's achievement as a moment of great pride for Manipur.

That people of Manipur have exceptional talent in diverse fields has been proven by Jairaj triumphing at the global stage, he said.

However, in-spite of Manipur considered as the talent hub of India, people of the state, unfortunately remain divided, rued the chief guest.

The felicitation programme was also attended by Naoriya Pakhanglakpa MLA S Kebi and Flying Aviation managing director Suraj Khongbantabam, among others.
