Assn urges relaxation of curbs on COHSEM employees

Imphal, October 06 2021: Pointing out that the misunderstanding among the employees of Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) has been resolved after thorough discussion; Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur Employees' Association has urged to relax the restriction imposed on some employees of the Council.

In a release, secretary N Praveen stated that subsequent to an organisation claiming on September 24 that some of the Council's employees were trying to undermine and mislead COHSEM activities the Association has been discussing the matter since then.

While accepting that the unwarranted incidents and developments occurred due to misunderstanding, the secretary.

Informed that the executive members of the Association talked with the employees mentioned by the organisation and clarified the confusions and reached an understanding.

Praveen asserted that the Association, which was seen to be of two groups, has been united and resolved to work for the welfare of the Council and student community.

He continued that no evidence pertaining to accusation of collection of money by some employees of the Council and handing over the same to a private 'trust' could not found as yet.
