The completion target was delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic and present crisis in the state.
As a result, the target has been extended and he is hopeful of completing the projects by March next year.
There is also strong instruction from the ministry to meet the deadline this time, the CE revealed.
All the PMGSY projects are low traffic volume roads.
However, there are reports of timber-loaded heavy vehicles using the two roads.
The authority concerned needs to check such movement so that the life span of the roads is extended, he added.
The chief engineer also clarified regarding the allegation of releasing fund after minor repairing on a 15-metre long bridge and some pipe culverts, stating that the repairing was done for the convenience of the public without sanctioning of any fund.
