Joined politics to bring development: Dinganglung

Dinganglung Gangmei alias Dipu, who will be the BJP candidate for the seat of Nungba AC in the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election, has said that he took voluntary retirement from Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and joined politics to serve people and bring the constituency to the path of development.
In an interaction with media persons at his Thangmeiband Neikanlong residence on Monday, Dinganglung Gangmei said that he retired from service and joined politics to bring a change in the society and thanked BJP leaders for awarding him party's ticket for the ensuing election.
He then urged all those who sought BJP ticket to support the party collectively and help each other so as to bring Nungba to the path of development.
He also appealed to workers of other intending candidates not to torch flag of any political party but rather put efforts to bring development.
BJP Tamenglong president Daniel Malangmei, who also took part in the interaction, thanked BJP leaders of both the state and the centre for issuing ticket to the right person and expressed hope that BJP will create history in Manipur.
Dinganglung Gangmei too will emerge victorious in the upcoming election, he stated with confidence.
