Sambit Patra attends Sangathan Parva workshop

Imphal, October 29 2024: Lok Sabha MP Dr Sambit Patra, who is also BJP national spokesperson and North East coordinator, arrived here on Tuesday and attended the BJP Sangathan workshop held at the Thambal Shanglen office of BJP Manipur Pradesh.

Soon after his arrival around 9 am, Dr Sambit visited Shri Shri Govindajee Temple at Palace Compound to offer prayers and returned to Thambal Shanglen, where he participated in the Sangathan Parv Workshop alongside chief minister N Biren Singh, BJP State president A Sharda Devi, ministers, MLAs and other party leaders.

During the event, Sambit Patra pointed out the importance of conducting the party elections in the most organised manner.

He advised party's state leaders to complete booth-level elections between November 11 and 30 and to carry out elections at the Mandal, district and state levels.

He also called on party members to undertake activities aimed at strengthening, the organisation.

Following his participation in the workshop, which was part of efforts to bolster the party's position, Dr Patra departed for Delhi.

Notably, BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretaries K Sarat, P Premananda and K Indacha Devi have been appointed as the Returning Officer and Coordinating Officers to oversee party's elections in the state.
