Rousing welcome given to BJP chief JP Nadda

Imphal, November 25 2021:
BJP national president JP Nadda arrived here on Thursday 9 pm in a chartered flight from Guwahati to chalk out party's strategies for the upcoming state assembly polls scheduled in early next year.
Union minister and election in-charge of Manipur Bhupendra Yadav was among the party leaders who received Nadda at Tulihal airport on his two-day state visit.
Chief minister N Biren, BJP state president A Sharda Devi, national spokesperson Dr Sampit Patra, works minister Th Biswajit, education minister S Rajen, agriculture minister O Lukhoi, Speaker Yumnam Khemchand, Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba and party's MLAs were also among the leaders who accorded warm welcome to Nadda.
Outside the airport, large number of party workers and intending candidates gave a rousing welcome to him.
As per sources, national general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh arrived on Wednesday to join the BJP booth-level and other poll related meetings.
