Imphal, June 25 2022: Chief Minister N Biren Singh accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba, Nungba AC MLA and Hill Areas Committee chairman Dinganglung Gangmei and other officials visited the Manipur Institute of Performing Arts, currently being constructed at Gurugram (erstwhile Gurgaon) in Haryana on Friday.

The team inspected the building which is being constructed by Riston Infra Private Ltd under the sponsorship of Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) .

It may be mentioned here that Prime Minister Narendra had virtually laid the foundation stone for the project during his visit to Imphal last year.

On the other hand, CM Biren met with Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju at the latter's official residence in New Delhi on Friday.

During the meeting, the CM apprised the union law minister of the various issues affecting the north-eastern states, particularly Manipur.
