AR aids IDP students showcase biotechnology prototypes

Imphal, September 13 2024: Assam Rifles has mentored and trained internally displaced students from the state to facilitate their participation and presentation of their biotechnology prototypes at the prestigious "Global Bio India - 2024" conference being held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from September 12-14 .

A team of two students from Bal Vidya Mandir, Imphal, accompanied by their teacher and an Assam Rifles officer, reached in Delhi on Wednesday to participate in the global event.

The initiative was taken up to foster talent and empower the youths, offering them an opportunity to engage with the international scientific community.

The journey of these students began earlier this year, when Assam Rifles organised an educational tour to USER Kolkata from July 1 to 7 with the experience gained igniting the students' passion for research and innovation, eventually leading to then-participation in Global Bio India.
