CRPF inaugurates school classrooms

CRPF DIG Range Churachandpur Sanjay Kumar on Saturday inaugurated five classrooms constructed by 58 Battalion CRPF, Kangvai for Blessed Centenary School, Kangvai, Churachandpur district under its civic action programme.
The inauguration function was also attended by 58 Bn commandant M Mohan, second-in-command Mani G Nair, and second-in-command Arun Kumar Sajja, among others and during which two computers and one printer were presented to the Blessed Centenary School, informed a statement.
Speaking on the occasion, DIG Sanjay Kumar highlighted various civic centric activities being initiated by 58 Bn CRPF with an aim to uplift the poor and needy villagers in Kangvai and nearby villages.
He said that CRPF has always been the front runner in helping the locals with their civic action programmes adding that post conflict, no schooling facilities were available to children in Kangvai village and they were forced to go to Churachandpur.
"Keeping in view of the difficulties being faced by the children of Kangvai, 58 Bn CRPF constructed and provided five classrooms in Kangvai village to run a school for children from LKG to class VII," he said, and assured the villagers of conducting more such activities in future.
More than 100 people including Kangvai village chief and prominent personalities of the village along with school children attended the event.
