Trees planted to mark SBI Day

Kakching, July 01 2013: As part of the nationwide observance of State Bank of India (SBI) Day, branches of the bank in the state have also observed the day with plantation of trees.

Under the aegis of SBI, Local Head office, Guwahati and Regional Business Office, SBI Kakching Branch conducted a tree plantation programme at Kakching Garden located at Kakching Uyok Ching today.

Thuamzamung Thunglut, Manager; Thanglienlal Haokip, Assistant Manager and other officials of SBI Kakching Branch took part in the programme.

In connection with the programme, N Budha, Special Cash Officer of the SBI Branch, explained that with an aim to save the environment from the impact of climatic change, SBI has taken up its social responsibility of conducting mass tree plantation programme this year.
