Imphal, March 30 2024: While pointing out that the conflict in the state is not over yet, Arambai Tenggol has urged the people not to indulge in election campaigns including organizing feast, using of loud speakers, conducting meetings and hoisting of flags.

In a release, Arambai Tenggol control room operator Laishram Robason said that organising election campaigns in connection with the upcoming Lok Sabha election is unnecessary during the present situation as the conflict is not resolve yet.

Instead of uniting the people, such election campaigns divided them.

As such, people should refrain from indulging in election campaigns and simply cast their votes to elect the candidate of their choice peacefully, he exhorted.
