Imphal, August 28 2021: Chief minister N Biren Singh met representatives of various organisations at his office chamber on Saturday and discussed various issues.

The chief minister first met representatives of BJP Tamil Nadu and discussed various issues including strengthening of the party in the state and later met representatives of Haryana Haj Committee and reviewed issues being faced by Muslim community.

The chief minister also met officials of National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) including contractors of projects undertaken by the company and reviewed progress of the projects.

The chief minister also enquired the contractors about status of projects undertaken by the company in the state and asked the contractors to complete projects within the stipulated time.

The chief minister further instructed contractors to complete projects under NHIDCL within one year.

He also assured the contractors that government and local people will help them when there is any attempt to create disturbance in the progress of the projects.
