Kakching, August 26 2021:
Kangleipak Kanba Lup (KKL), Manipur organised a one day free medical camp at Tangkhul Khullen in Kangpokpi district on Wednesday.
During the camp conducted under the supervision of Dr Lousambam Joganada, Dr O Birjit Singh, Dr Naorem Dinesh Singh, Dr Lumsing Gangmei, Dr Peterson, Dr Ashapriya and Dr Nunnem Vaiphei a total of 60 villagers including 10 children were examined and medicines distributed to the needy free of cost.
Speaking in this regard, KKL secretary general Ngamkheingakpa Luwang informed that the camp was part of its ongoing campaign under the theme 'Uniting the indigenous people of the Kangleipak' and it will continue to organise such camps in future as well.
KKL will strongly oppose any conspiracy by some MLAs to create division among various communities of the state for their vested interest and narrow political agenda.
Any step to threaten the integrity of Manipur will be faced head on, he asserted.
Ngamkheingakpa Luwang said that hill brethren should not trust the lies of.
some MLAs that no development work is being done for them, though these MLAs themselves reside in valley after being elected.
MLAs have always been elected for hill constituencies but instead of discharging their duty in the service of the people they generally reside in valley region and spew lies that Meitei community is snatching away the rights of hill people.
In order to thwart the devilish intentions of such mean politicians, it is high time that the hill denizens elect an unbiased representative who will perform his/her duties sincerely, he stressed.
The general secretary also conveyed gratitude to Aristo Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, Future Mankind Private Limited, Triton Health Care Private Limited, Monark Biocare Private Limited and Alter Healthcare Private Limited for providing medicines and made special mention of Padma Medicare, Diagnostic Instrumental and Goodhealth for helping with medical equipment.
