PNB donates to Kamjong Dist Hospital

Imphal, October 22 2021:
Punjab National Bank (PNB) donated medical equipment worth Rs 10,00,000 to Kamjong District Hospital under its CSR Activities on Thursday.
A release issued by PNB Circle Office Imphal informed that the medical equipment consisting of Ultrasound Machine with Colour Doppler and Chemical Analyzer with incubator were handed over to CMO Kamjong district Dr Nilakanta Singh by its AGM and circle head Manish Debbarma in the presence of chief manager Songthu Stevan Aimol and senior manager Y Ibochou Singh.
Manish Debbarma stated that the medical equipment were donated as part of the bank's CSR activities so that the public of Kamjong district can get good medical treatment as the place is located in far flung area with difficult terrain.
He also mentioned that PNB has created new Circle Office in Imphal which will be the administrative office for the states of Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland.
Dr Nilakanta Singh thanked the PNB team for taking the initiative by donating the much needed medical equipment which is very much necessary for Kamjong District Hospital.
The donation programme was attended by senior officials of the district and staff of the hospital, it said.
