Bishnupur, June 18 2021: The 20th The Great June Uprising Unity Day was also observed by United Clubs' Organisation of Bishnupur District in association with Covid-19 Task Force Ningthoukhong under the aegis of AMUCO and UCM at Ningthoukhong Bazar Public Park on Friday.

During the solemn function, which was held with strict adherence to Covid-19 protocols, a two-minute silence was observed and floral tributes were offered to the portraits of the martyrs.

Former chief secretary O Nabakishore Singh, LCM High School, Moirang principal Kh Rajenkumar, Ningthoukhong Apunba Meira Paibi Lup president RK Bheigabati and United Clubs' Organisation of Bishnupur District president Th Norenkumar were among others who attended the commemorative event.

Speaking on the occasion, Norenkumar explained that the observance this time was held in a low scale in consideration of the prevailing pandemic situation.
