Stranded Manipuri youth reaches home

Luiramsing Zimik, a youth from Manipur who was earlier stranded in Kazakhstan, reached home safe and sound.
"I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Government of India forhelping me evacuate Kazakhstan on time.
I reached Manipur on January 16 safe and sound", Luiramsing Zimik said in a statement.
He expressed gratitude to Union Minister Dr RK Ranjan (MoS of External Affairs), for prompt intervention in his situation.
"Thank you so much, Dr Ranjan for giving me the much needed help from the day I got held up in Kazakhstan till I reached my hometown" .
"I also would like to thank chief minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh for the tremendous effort he'd made in bringing me home", said Zimik, a resident of Mapao Khullen village in Senapati district.
Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Dr Lorho S Pfoze, member of the Lok Sabha (Outer), he stated that the MP helped him connect with the right people.
"I am grateful to many other people who I cannot personally mention here.
My trust in the Government of India remains intact.
Last but not the least, I thank the Almighty for taking me through this ride in peace.
I feel blessed to have received all the prayer and support from my people", he said.
It may be recalled that Zimik reached Almaty, Kazakhstan on January 5 on his way back to India from South Korea where he's currently pursuing Theology studies at Seoul's Hoseo University.
However, he remained stuck there due to suspension of flight services in the Central Asian country in the midst of mass protests over fuel price hike.
