NSUI seeks public views on education

With an eye on gathering views for framing educational policies for the betterment of the student community, a one-day campaign was organized by National Students' Union India (NSUI), Manipur at Manipur Press Club yesterday under the theme "Voice your ideas for the student manifesto of the Indian Congress for the Lok Sabha 2014" .
NSUI, which has been running a national campaign called "Enhancing Quality and Equality in Education", is the first kind of organisation in the country to take an active role in reforming the education system of the country, said Th.Bikram Khuman, president of NSUI-M who was the president of the function.
Vice president, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), Dr.Kh.
Loken, and general secretary, MPCC, S.Bidyapati were also present at the function as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
As part of the function, a website www.nsui.in was also launched.
