Prizes for cleanest wards of RIMS distributed

Imphal, November 12 2021:
The winners of RIMS Hospital Cleanliness Contest which was held on October 2 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, also National Cleanliness Day, were felicitated with presentation of certificates and cash awards on Thursday by RIMS director professor A Santa Singh.
A release by RIMS media advisor N Phillip Singh informed that the contest was held to select the cleanest ward (section) and washrooms of RIMS hospital.
Psychiatry Ward, PMR Ward and Post Natal Ward were declared as first, second and third Cleanest Ward respectively and awarded certificates and cash rewards whereas Casualty, Gynae, Antenatal, Septic, ICU, Sick Care and Paediatric wards were given consolation prizes.
Medicine Ward I/II and Female Ortho Ward were given first and second prize respectively in the Cleanest Washroom category and Surgery Ward and Post Natal Ward were adjudged joint winner of the third prize in the same category.
In the individual category, Kh Lukhoi Singh of Male and Female Surgery Ward and Rebika Kabuini posted at Anesthesiology Department were given best male and female attendant prizes while Sanasam Naomacha Singh and Maimom Nilabati Devi were given best housekeeping Male and Female staff during the prize distribution programme.
Prof Santa Singh congratulated all the winners for their tireless efforts and keeping hospital clean.
He also encouraged those missed out deserving team/wards to feel proud of keeping their wards neat and clean.
The programme was attended by medical superintendent prof N Sanjib Singh, HODs, faculty members, chief nursing officers and nursing officials, staff and CRED team.
