AHPI launches media fellowship

Association of Healthcare Providers (AHPI) - Manipur Chapter announced the launch of its first AHPI Medical Media Fellowship, a two-month training programme designed to enhance media professionals' understanding of the challenges and satisfaction of delivering quality healthcare in the state from December 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025 .
In a release, AHPI Manipur Chapter secretary Dr James Elangbam said that the fellowship offers a unique opportunity for four selected candidates, including two from print media and one unit from electronic media (comprising cameraman and reporter), to deepen their expertise in covering medical and healthcare topics.
The fellowship is for journalists under the age of 40 who have at least five years of experience, preferably with a background in medical reporting.
Interested journalists may submit applications, to its office located at Acme Fertility and Healthcare Centre, Palace Compound.
Prospective fellows must include a copy of their professional journalist registration certificate, proof of at least five years of experience post-registration, any prior fellowship experience (if applicable), a list of healthcare-related articles they have previously published, with links if available and information about their current media affiliation (newspaper, TV, or radio) .
