Gurukul Shiksha has announced Lhe appointment of Lieutenant General LN Singh (Retd) as the first president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the world's first Gurukul Management System.
The initiative aims to modernise the management of 10,000 Gurukuls globally by integrating traditional education with advanced technology.
Gurukul project president of Bharatiya Shiksha Mandal, Dr Deep Koirala lauded the appointment, stating, "Lt Gen LN Singh, with his extensive leadership experience and vision, is uniquely suited to lead this transformative initiative.
His expertise in managing large-scale organisations and commitment to innovation will ensure the platform's global success".
Lt Gen LN Singh expressed his commitment to preserving Gurukul traditions while leveraging modern tools.
"The Gurukul system is a revered educational tradition.
My vision is to empower Gurukuls, including Gruh Gurukuls, Ved Gurukuls, Kala Gurukuls, Pathshalas, and Tapovans, to operate efficiently without compromising their core values.
In this age of Artificial Intelligence, it is crucial that our Gurukuls remain relevant," he remarked.
A decorated former military leader, Lt Gen LN Singh served in key positions in the Indian Army and later chaired the Manipur Public Service Commission.
His educational journey, which began in a Gurukul, instilled the discipline and leadership that defined his career.
As the first CEO, LN Singh will focus on the platform's strategic development, global expansion, and operational efficiency, ensuring a seamless blend of technology and tradition in the Gurukul education system.
