Imphal, July 07 2013: All Manipur Student Guardians' Organization (AMSGO) has presented the first Kshetrimayum Shamungou Singh Memorial Award to differently abled student P Julia, who secured first division with highest mark in Philosophy in Higher Secondary Examination-2013 conducted by COHSEM.

The award presentation function was held at the Hall of Keishamthong Model High School here today.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs.5000 and it has been instituted by AMSGO in memory of its former Information and Publicity Secretary Ksh Shamungou.

The function was attended by social activist Raja Naoriya as Chief Guest and Vice-President of AMSGO N Chaoba as President, while Advisor of KSA Y Pradipkumar, former member of AMSGO Kh Mahendra and Treasurer of AMSGO H Borbabu were also present as Guests of Honour.

Chief Guest Raja Naoriya also encouraged Julia with an additional cash prize of Rs.4000 presented from his own pocket.
