All Disabled Union Sadar Hills lauds

All Disabled Union Sadar Hills (ADUSH) on Wednesday begin its functioning after the formal inauguration of the office was held at Old ZEO Kangpokpi office on May 16 last.
Talking to media person Lalkhohen Chongloi, President ADUSH said that All Disabled Union Sadar Hills was formed in the year 2006 to avail of the provisions entitled to disabled people in the Indian Constitution.
While the Union had been struggling hard in installing the Union office, Haokholal Hangshing, Chairman ADC Sadar Hills donated a room in the Old Zonal Education Office, Kangpokpi building last year so as to enable well and smooth functioning of the union, he added.
ADUSH supremo further said that even though formal inauguration had been made last month, the union failed to run the office due to lack of office materials.
However, with the benevolent donation of necessary office materials including one bookshelves, 25 piece of plastic chair and Computer table from IFC Minister Ngamthang Haokip and a Computer set from MLA Nemcha Kipgen, the office of ADUSH could start functioning, Chongloi said.
Therefore, 'we heartily thanks them and many other distinguished persons and well wishers and most importantly MANEDA for bringing a smile into our faces', lauded Lalkhohen Chongloi while adding that the disabled people within Sadar Hills would multiply those benign service in the society particularly among the marginalized people.
ADUSH also appealed to the responsible town authority and the general public to ensure that the office of the disabled people is to be cared and protected.
