Imphal, October 02 2018: Kumbi College which was established in 1981 celebrated its 38th foundation at its hall today.

The event began by offering floral tributes to the images of late founding members and governing body members of the college.

MP Dr Thokchom Meinya Singh, Kumbi AC MLA S Birla Singh and former Minister N Mangi Singh and Chairman governing body M Mangi Singh (National Teacher Awardee) as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.

Saying that teachers and governing members play vital roles in development of the college, Dr T Meinya Singh appealed the college authority to apply for NAAC Assessment.

He added that the college will received funding from UGC for the college development if the college are once accredited by the NAAC.

Governing members of the college were felicitated with simple gifts and meritorious students of the college with cash and certificates during the event.
