CPI seeks road map to resolve crisis

Communist Party of India, Manipur State Council (CPI-MSC) Sekmai and Lamlai local branches adopted a resolution to urge the government to come up with a road map to solve the prevailing crisis in the state.
In a statement released by CPI-MSC, its Sekmai Branch convened a meeting at the residence of Kh Sushila at Loitang Khunou on Sunday, which was attended by N Gunindra Meitei and Kh Sushila as presidium members.
During the meeting, CPI-MSC, Imphal West member L Inaomacha stated that the Meetei-Kuki conflict has not only affected the economy of the state but also the future generations.
As such, both the central and state governments should come up with a solution at the earliest.
On the other hand, CPI-MSC Lamlai Branch held its 42nd conference, which was attended by A Shyamkesho, I Amuchou and Sh Purnimashi as presidium members.
During the conference, the Branch's work report for the year was discussed, along with political issues prevailing in the state.
The conference resolved to urge the government to come up with a road map to solve the crisis in the state.
Later, Thokchom Joykumar was re-elected as the secretary of Lamlai branch.
