Reacting to the alleged disparaging remarks made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah about Dr BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, Kakching Block Congress Committee (KBCC) has submitted a memorandum addressed to the President of India through the Kakching deputy commissioner demanding the immediate dismissal of Amit Shah as the Home Minister and tendering public apology for his comments.
Addressing media persons after handing over the memorandum to ADM M Kapajit on Tuesday, MPCC secretary Ksh Kennedy, condemned Amit Shah s remarks, claiming that it was an insult to Indian democracy and a blatant disrespect to the Indian Constitution.
