RPF, KCP condole demise of cadres

The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has deeply condoled the sudden demise of outfit's private Akoijam Vikeshkumar alias Nongfai, son of Akoijam Premkumar and Akoijam Ongbi Surjita of Iroisemba Amukhong Leirak.
In a condolence note, RPF assistant publicity secretary Bangkim said that private Nongfai (A-3336) was serving in PLA's 252 mobile Battalion but suffered injuries when the weapon issued to him fired accidently while trying to remove bullets after returning from duty and succumbed to the injury on November 20 .
Offering revolutionary salute to the deceased private, RPF recalled that Nongfai joined the outfit on August 18, 2019 and completed PLA's Basic Military Training and allotted Army No.3336 by war office on November 25, 2019 .
Private Nongfai was calm, sincere, disciplined and wanted to live life with dignity and freedom apart from loving Manipur from the bottom of his heart and did not differentiate between hills and valley, the condolence note added.
The outfit further said that a condolence meet on Nongfai's sudden demise was held at all the RPF's units, departments and stations and shared pain and sorrow of the bereaved family of the revolutionary.
On the other-hand, the banned Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) offered revolutionary salute (Red Salute) to its deputy finance secretary Ngasepam Achouba Meitei, who reportedly breathed his last due to an illness on November 21 .
In a condolence message, KCP secretary-in-charge of information & publicity S Mangal said that Achouba (53) alias Ng Khuman Meitei, son of late Tombi and late Ng (O) Memcha of Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai died on November 21 at about 9 am.
The condolence message further said that Khuman stepped into revolutionary movement from the very young age of 14 years and continued to shoulder responsibility for the nation and the outfit till his last breath without any deviation from the revolutionary path.
After the party's -national congress held in 2006, Khuman Meitei served as camp CO and later became secretary-in charge of Lou-u sing-u Loisang of the outfit from 2014 as a member of interim central committee.
He then shouldered key responsibility of the outfit from the beginning of 2015 till his last breath as deputy finance secretary.
Khuman Meitei was a man who put enormous effort towards preserving rich culture and tradition left behind by forefathers of the land and observed Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba and Imoinu Ahongbi Ima ceremony every year keenly.
The condolence message further said the last rites of Khuman Meitei were performed with highest revolutionary honour by offering red salute and lowering party' flag at half-mast at the outfit's CHQ, GHQ, units, camps and other mobile units.
