No politics without state's integrity: MLA Robindro

Asserting his stand for the integrity and unity of the state, Manipur Industrial Development Corporation Limited (MANIDCO) chairman and Mayang Imphal MLA Kongkham Robindro asked where will the politicians do politics and fight elections after the disintegration of Manipur.
He was inaugurating a new playground of All Mayang Muslim Youth Development Organisation (AMIMDYO), Mayang Imphal Bengoon organised while attending the closing ceremony of the 4th Men's Open Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday.
Robindro observed that the mother language of Meetei and Meitei Pangal is Meeteilon and the blood bond between the two communities can never be broken.
He also emphasised that both the community should stand united to face any divisive attempt to break this bond.
Citing recent remark by ex-CM Okram Ibobi Singh and thanking him for sanctioning various developmental projects in Mayang Imphal assembly constituency during his tenure, Robindro decried that unfortunately the projects were handed over to wrong representative at that time.
He noted that during ex CM's, tenure a project for construction of district hospital, Imphal West at Mayang Imphal was sanctioned but the work never kicked off except for erection of fence.
Robindro continued that after he was elected, he pursued this project with chief minister N Biren and now the DoNER ministry has sanctioned Rs 65 crore for the same.
The work will begin soon, he said while asserting that the construction of the said hospital will be completed during his tenure as MLA.
He also pointed out that incomplete projects of previous MLA such as water supply at Chabung Company and Komlakhong police outpost were completed by him.
The MLA further said that people would have appreciated more if ex-CM Ibobi had also mentioned the incomplete projects by the then MLA, who did not even, took up proper repairing of the roads of the constituency despite being the works minister.
The function was also attended by social worker Alhaj Moulanan Abdus Salam, BJP Mayang Imphal Mandal president Irom Rabi Singh, Mayang Imphal Municipal Council Ward No 9 councillor Kayamuddin, Mayang Imphal SDPO T Bimolchand Singh and UMPC Manipur general secretary Raees Ahmed.
