Locals demand completion of road widening work

Imphal, January 22 2021: The Eroisemba Youth Development Complete Club (EYDC) has demanded that the road widening work and drain renovation work along Uripok Kangchup Road (UK Road) be completed or to restore it to its previous state.

Highlighting the piteous state of the road made worse by the never ending road widening and drain renovation work, EYDC in a statement said that the failure to complete the road widening work has greatly inconvenienced the people.

Sprinkling water to reduce dust pollution has resulted in many two wheelers skidding on the road and fast driving cars and heavy vehicles have only made the situation worse, added the statement.
